I grew up with a mom who hand stitched every single one of my halloween costumes, she spent hours glueing on sequins, sewing lace and creating the prefect halloween costumes. I always dreamed of making these eloborate and creative DIY costumes for my kids, I imagined a room spread full of fabric and tulle and feathers and yet here I am, the person who is ordering costumes 3 days before thanking the Good heavens for Amazon Prime and always saying “oh next year I’ll try to make something…” (for the record, I cannot sew, I do not have a craft room and it is highly unlikely that I will ever make a costume the caliber my mom did for halloween.)
But there’s hope for all of us this year!!! We partnered with Rylee and Cru and Witty Bash to put together a DIY Halloween Costume Party and boy oh boy did this make me realize my DIY Costume dreams maybe weren’t too far off after all!
