Balboa Park has absolutely stunning photoshoot locations around every corner. From historical buildings, lush gardens, and massive fig trees to arboretums and reflecting ponds. It’s truly the heart of San Diego and when it came to picking a spot for Russell and Erika’s engagement session there was no better place to start than Balboa Park.

After strolling around San Diego’s famous Balboa park we rushed off to the beach to capture sunset photos at Scripps Pier in La Jolla. Scripps Pier is another one of San Diego’s iconic engagement session locations and being there at sunset is breathtaking.
