Karissa and Brandon almost didn’t meet at all.
After a few messages back and forth on an online dating platform Karissa had pretty much written Brandon off and their conversation died quickly. Then one evening Karissa got all dressed up and was ready to head out with a girlfriend when she got the dreaded cancellation call. Minutes later Brandon randomly sent her a funny photo of himself and all she could think was “wow he is actually pretty cute.” He then proceeded to ask her out for drinks…she begrudgingly thought “why not? I’m already ready to go.”
Their late night appetizers and drinks turned out to be such an incredible time that Karissa couldn’t wipe the smile off her face. Brandon had been drawn to her joy and couldn’t resist ending the night with a kiss.
One date turned into many and before they knew it a year had passed.
Karissa had been dying to dine at a luxurious restaurant in Orange County, The Hobbit, and Brandon thought no better time to make her dreams come true than this. During their 10-course dinner intermission they were walking the grounds and talking about their wild love story over the last year. Brandon couldn’t wait a moment longer to ask Karissa to spend forever with him and was on his knee before she could even make sense of what was happening.
The Mission in San Juan Capistrano is where they decided to have their engagement photos taken and the historic ruins couldn’t have set a more romantic scene.
The Mission in San Juan Capistrano is the birthplace of Orange County, a two hundred-year-old monument that boasts 10 acres of gardens, fountains, and structures.
Karissa and Brandon’s will say their vows and party with their friends at the stunning Rancho Las Lomas this Spring, and I cannot wait!
