Hidden away in the foothills of the Silverado Canyon sits the most spectacular resort and zoological garden. Once you enter the white stucco gates you instantly feel like you’ve been transported to a serene Portuguese escape. Karissa and Brandon wanted to get married at a statement venue and Rancho Las Lomas couldn’t have set a more romantic and glamorous scene.
We walked past tigers, zebras and an ostrich on our way to the bridal cottage where Karissa and her bridesmaids were sipping mimosas laughing the morning away.
Tucked away in a small villa set beside the orange orchard Karissa climbed the stairs with excitement and anticipation filling her heart. She could hear Brandon laughing just around the corner as he waited to see his bride for the first time.
The villa’s Spanish tiles and wall murals transported us right to the heart of Portugal.
The beautiful new family; Addi was a darling flower girl!
Karissa was simply elegant, from her jewelry to her dress. Everything about her was prefect!
The ceremony took place nestled under ancient oak and sycamore trees in El Teatro, an open-air theater with a marble ceremonial stage. The white stucco, the blue and white hand painted tiles, the murals from Portugal and the botanical gardens that surround the large patios helped set the mood for a truly enchanting experience.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as Brandon and Karissa exchanged their vows.
24 Carrots Catering and Florals by Jenny transformed the El Teatro into the most romantic reception area for guests to mingle, drink and celebrate.
