It feels good to be back. Back to writing, back to capturing moments that matter and sharing stories that deserve to be told. Back to expressing my life through the lens and the pen. I’ve been on quite a hiatus, what with getting married and all but this website, this blog is something I’ve been dreaming of for a long time.

Yes, I know there are a thousand beautiful and inspiring blogs out there and I’ve asked myself more than enough times, “well why in the world get back into something everyone else is already doing…” And I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s because it matters. Maybe not to you, but to me it matters.

The things I share here may seem like my stories, my thoughts, my adventures but I’ve realized they deserve to be told because they are His. These are His children in love, communing in marriage, His heart for the world I get to travel, His lessons to be shared and I’m His voice to do that.

I honestly don’t know what this will or can be, but I know it will be my heart. I suspect that will mean galleries of love being captured; from Newlyweds to New life. It will probably consist of thoughts on marriage and lessons learned. Maybe it’ll have ideas and inspiration for making your place “home.” It will tell stories of community and life and the people living it. It will exemplify the Lord and make His story known. It may journal travels across the country and to the ends of the earth. And it may just simply share the small ways the Spirit is moving in our life.

Whatever it is, whatever it becomes I hope you’ll journey with us.
