It was the most spectacular day in Laguna Beach for a Proposal at the Montage. The weather was perfect, the water was clear and Chris was about to make Bri the happiest girl in the world.

Chris and Bri were celebrating their anniversary with a weekend in Laguna. He had planned an afternoon picnic and on their way to check in to the hotel he received a call saying their room wasn’t ready. He told Bri and suggested they just head to the beach to wait it out and have some snacks. The beach was packed and all Bri thought the whole time was; “Gosh, I’m so dressed up to be at the beach right now.”

One they made it past all of the beach goers Bri realized Chris was up to something special. If his nerves didn’t give him away the private table and teepee might have!

Chris had put so much thought into this proposal and it was evident in every little detail. Chris had the help of The Yes Girls in planning and executing this perfect proposal. The lovely and talented Studio C Florals pulled it all together with her stunning array of roses and peonies!

 

Chris dropped to one knee and the whole beach watched in awe. Bri wiped tears from her eyes and steadied her hands as he slipped the ring on her finger and promised to spend forever with him!

Laguna Beach erupted in applause as this newly engaged couple kissed. Everyone came over to congratulate them and compliment the effort Chris went to to make this the perfect day.

It didn’t end there for Bri, Chris had packed her favorite champagne to celebrate.

When Chris planned the proposal he wanted to include a small bag of Italian coins. Chris and Bri plan to get married in Italy and one of the Italian traditions is that as the bride and groom leave their guests throw coins. Chris wanted to bring the coins from the moment she said “Yes” to the moment she said “I do.”

Can you even believe this incredible ring Chris had designed for Bri? It’s completely understandable that she couldn’t stop staring at it!

One of my favorite details was the sun hat Chris had made for Bri that said; “soon to be mrs.”

It was such a spectacular day for a proposal at the Montage in Laguna Beach and an honor to be there to capture the day.
