A Kauai, Hawaii Engagement Session

If you’ve ever dreamed of having a destination engagement session in Kauai, Hawaii then this shoot is guaranteed to make you book flights immediately, pull out your Lai and say “Aloha” to adventure.

Matt and Jess are San Diego natives who love the beach, exploring the outdoors and laughing as hard as possible. When they dreamed of their engagement session they just wanted to do something fun so we set out to find the most iconic and beautiful spots Kauai had to offer on the South Shore!

 

We started with a hike to the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean, the view could not have been more spectacular and we were even able to see Manta rays and turtles swimming below!

These lava rocks were the perfect contrast for the Hawiian Sunset and these two in their formal outfits.

It wouldn’t be an engagement session in Hawaii without some palm trees and a little beach side bliss.

Matt and Jess, being the adventurous couple that they are decided the most epic ending to their session would be with a little splash in the warm ocean waves.
