When you walk up to the Bridal cottage at Twin Oaks Estate you’re instantly immersed in the romantic grandeur of a wedding. It’s a garden oasis nestled among tall forests, vibrant florals, and cascading streams in North County San Diego. This turn of the century estate could not have been a better place for Taylor and Paige to say their “I do’s.”

Taylor and Paige met by sheer luck when a mutual friend invited her over to hang out with a house full of guys. Paige showed up and was instantly overwhelmed to be at a house where 8 guys lived, she said it was like walking into a “shark tank,” and swore never to go back to their house again. It was just a week later that Taylor invited her to go the the Lava Hot Springs in Idaho with him and she was hooked.

Taylor proposed on the last night of a family trip to Disneyland. Paige said she was on the edge of her chair waiting for him to pop the question, she walked the park commenting on great places to get engaged, picturesque backgrounds for a proposal and how wonderful it would be for him to ask while they were there. Little did she know he had a plan in the works that would make her wait until the very last evening at a fancy dinner with a scrumptious desert until he would ask her to be his wife.

The minute Paige and her mother toured Twin Oaks Estate they knew it was the perfect place for her big day. She adored the natural garden oasis and chose her flowers to compliment the lush greenery of the venue.

Paige said; “Our ceremony was so special because of who we got to share it with. Our families from all over were able to make it, along with our best friends and even the Pastor who married us was my Pastor since I was a baby. It was all very personal and it meant so much to share it with all the people we love and cherish.”

These blush, cream and white florals were elegant and complimented every part of the wedding day.

The wedding dress was incredibly special for Paige, she bought it at David’s bridal and by the time it made it to the wedding day it looked nothing like the dress she purchased. She added the lace from her mother’s wedding gown, cap sleeves and her veil was the exact veil her mother wore on her wedding day.

It was as if the day couldn’t get any better and then the reception started. It was such an intimate time for family and friends to share their love and for Paige it was one of her favorite parts of the day. “One of my favorite things about the reception were the decorations. I put a special touch on it and crafted everything I could. From the place cards, the table numbers and the menus to the memory table and our relationship timeline wall. Everything in that tent meant something to us and had our unique touch on it.”

There really is no better end to an amazing day than an all out, all night dance party.
